PIZZA

In this small and cheap meal is a 1002,pound piece of pizza for only 199,999.99.Here is how we make this giant piece of pizza. First we have the dough brought to us by a truck with all of the other pizza supplies that we need to make this giant pizza. Once we get the dough we have a crane drop the dough onto a huge table. Once we have dropped the dough we have a 100 crew members help us make the dough flat. Once the dough is flat we have a helicopter drop the sauce onto the pizza. Then we have our crew members spread out the sauce. After the sauce has been spread we have a different helicopter drop all the cheese and pepperoni.

What I know About 9/11
What I know about 9/11 is that in New York City a brutal event happened. Two planes had crashed in the twin towers on purpose by terrorists .They had hijacked the two planes to warn America. Thousands of very loved innocent people were killed in the bombing. A couple years later they built a huge tombstone were the two towers were standing a couple years ago two honor those who died in the horrific event

Coercion is forcing somebody to do something. The little girl had to go help with the trash. Taylor was forced to stay in her house. The kids were forced to jump in the beans with the pigs. Everybody tried to force DK to stay.
Cooperation is when people combine to achieve a common goal. The little girl cooperated and help with the trash. The leaders had to come together and make a decision. Galan talked DK into staying. Taylor cooperated and helped DK stay.
Authority is the right to command. Taylor is taking her authority way to far. The older kids act like they have authority just because there bigger. The upper class does not have authority .

Negative deviance is behavior that falls short of expectations. Taylor wont help with them. Some of the cooks wont do dishes. The girl is acting like she's doing everything right when she's not. Some of the older kids are not helping the younger kids.
Deviant is a person that breaks society's norms. Taylor wont help with the trash. The girl sold food that she took. The boys broke the girls signs. The older kid yelled at the little one.
Anomie is a social condition in which society is weak. The election is cause the whole town to argue. The town has been getting lazy as a whole. There not working together s a group. There is a lot of fighting lately.
Kid Nation 5
Group is two or more people that are in regular contact. The yellow team is the upper class. The two older kids hang out a lot. Some of the younger kids chase animals together. They all have their different religious groups that they pray with.
Primary group is a close group that emotionally support each other and seek one another out. Some of the groups help each other pray and stuff like that. The green group is the close and they don't really fight very much. Some of the younger kids stick together and help each other out. The town is closer now and are more like a group.
Conflict is interaction aimed at defeating an opponent. The little girl wont get up and yells at the other people. Zach and the little girl argue about who would be the better leader. The girl is trying to take one of the leaders spots and he doesn't like her. One of the girls keeps being mean to one of the leaders.

What is something that bothers me?
Carter Easter really bugs me. He bugs me by always touching me when he has to say something to me. He is also always talking to me when I'm trying to do my work and he slows me down. He also always is in my business even more so than my parents. The main problem is he is by me in all my classes we have. Everything I tell him he has to tell someone else so I just stopped telling him stuff and just don't tell him anything anymore. He also yells a lot and talks non stop and gives me headaches and makes me loose train of thought on what I'm doing.

This summer I am playing basketball. I am playing on the Festus team with all of the seventh graders that were undefeated. I think this summer even though it is not school basketball I think we will still do good. Since we are not playing school ball I think the competition will be better than before so we will get better. We are playing at the CNR league that plays in fox and St. Louis. Our coaches are Jeremy Moss and Collin Beffa.

Status set is all the statuses someone holds. The group leaders are the bosses of every body. The little girl owns the one of the stores. The upper class has no jobs. One of the kids is helping a lot with religion.
Ascribed status is something someone is given rather than choosing it. The green district is assigned to do the dishes. The red team is the merchant class. The blue team is the upper class again. The yellow team are the cooks again.
Obligation is a duty of commitment someone needs to fulfill. The yellow team needs to cook and do dishes. The upper class needs to help with the lower classes. The green team has to do the dirty jobs. The fifteen year old has to flip over the out house.

President
Jose is the president of Uruguay. He donated 90% of his 12,500 dollars salary. He only got 1,250 dollars of his salary. He say I'm called the poorest president but he's says he doesn't feel poor. I think he is one of the best president after what he did because most president don't use any of their own money to help their country. And almost all other president get paid at least double of what he does.

Kid Nation #2
Morals are rules of behavior that are related to right and wrong. The kids thought it was wrong to kill the chicken. Some kids thought it was wrong that some of yellow didn't cook. The older kid did the wrong thing and cussed at all of them and told them he deserved the gold star. The town council thought that the older kids behavior was unacceptable.
Values are broad ideas about what is considered valuable. The kids had to value water because the well froze up. Some of the kids value the chickens. They have to value there food so they have enough for every one. The kids think the gold star is valuable.
Belief's are ideas about reality that affect behavior. Some of the kids believed that it was bad to kill the chickens. The older kid believed that he deserved the gold star. Some of the kids believed that green could have finished the challenge. They belief that the upper class should help with the lower classes.

Kid Nation 3
Desocialization is the process of giving up old norms, values, attitudes, and behavior. The leaders gave the town a curfew. The kids might not have had to help little kids before but now they do. The little girl realizes that everything is not all about her. The older kid realizes the people in his town don't really like him so he has to change.
Anticipatory socialization is voulintary preparing to accept new norms, values, attitudes, and behavior. Some of the kids had to be ok with getting the microwave and not the pizza. Some of the kids had to accept that they weren't upper class anymore. Some of the kids had to suck it up and clean the dishes. The kids had to get over the girl that only cared about herself.
Looking glass stage is how you see your self based on what others think of you. The older kid feels like a jerk after cussing at all of them. One of the town council people know that he's annoying after everybody yells at him. Every body tells the kid on green that he is very brave and strong for a little kid and he starts to get a better attitude and not be as homesick. The little girl cries because she feels bad after everyone yells at her.

Class conflict: Means struggles between two different classes. One of the 11 year olds is arguing with the 15 year old. The girl with the green bandana doesn't agree with yellows decision to not do dishes. jimmy wants to go home but everybody wanted him to stay but he decided to go home. There is conflict on who should get the gold star.
Power means the ability to control others. The 15 year olds try to have power over the the smaller kids. A lot of them argued about which job they have. They challenged each other to see what team would get the most money. The challenge was also to see what jobs they have.
Verstehen is putting your self in someone's position to understand there behavior. Jimmy started crying because he was home sick. A older girl put herself in his position and thought what it would be like to be 8 and not being able to see your parents. Then she realized why he was so sad and missed his parents so much. Some of the kids had to put themselves in the chefs position to see why they were so stressed out when they had to cook for everybody.

Dear Mrs. DeBolt,
One of my favorite hobbies is riding my dirt bike. I also like to work on stuff. I like to work on motors in cars and motorcycles. I don't really care when stuff brakes around my house cause then I get to work on it. I also like to put models together.
I like to ride dirt bikes. This summer I think my dad will finally let me race at Arch View in St. Louis. I like to work on dirt bikes as much as I like to ride them. When my dirt bike breaks sometimes my dad will let me work on it by myself. That is a couple of the things I like to do when riding or fixing my dirt bike.
I don't have much experence with computers besides playing games or looking up stuff. But I think after this quarter I will be a lot better with computers and how to work them. I have a computer at home. It doesn't have Microsoft word and stuff like that. I mostly use it to look up part for thing or use it to get on craigslist.

being special
yes I agree that everyone can be special because many people around the world are special and their own way everyone has something awesome about them and something they are good at and some stuff that their not good at I think everyone around the would have their own way to be special and good a something because everyone around the world are different everyone is not the same because everyone was not born the same and everyone has different jeans in there family so everyone would end up being different and their own way.
